Comparison of Insulated Stemless Wine Glasses
For starters, if you don’t have one, you need one. It is great for wine, but it is good for cocktails too, especially if you are outside, or heading to a get together at a neighbors, the pool, lake, etc. I have two, one from Corkcicle and the other is from BruMate. I bought the first one on a whim and bought the second because I wanted a more wintery colored one. BruMate just happened to have the color I wanted so I bought it, but…which one is better?
I thought I would test them out and see which one kept a beverage cold the longest. After filling both with ice cubes and water I checked several times, but they both still had a huge chunk of ice after six hours – I doubt any good beverage will last longer than that (LOL).
So, lets look at other attributes.
STYLING: For styling, they are similar and both come in many beautiful colors, however, I like the Corkcicle slightly more – while the BruMate is completely smooth all the way around, Corkcicle has “easy-grip” flat sides which do make the glass easier to hold onto.
LIDS: The BruMate boasts a leak-proof lid, I do find this to be true, but the functionality of the lid makes it less enjoyable to drink out of. The Corkcicle lid is more simplistic and enjoyable to drink from.
Unless you absolutely need leak-proof…maybe you want to fill your cup and hike somewhere or toss it in your bag and walk to the beach, I would go with the Corkcicle.
You can buy the Corkcicle one here. If you are looking for the leak-proof BruMate – here you go!
