Best Big Family Travel Hack

Okay okay, you’ve heard it all before – top travel hacks…travel necessities, etc. with a long list of random Amazon products that are mostly things you really don’t need.  This is something different, it is a recommendation for one item, the BEST item for HOTEL travel with larger families. 

How many restless nights have you had cramming your family into two beds in a hotel room?  How many times have you been kicked in the face by an adorable little foot?  LOL.  Well, our favorite travel hack is actually air mattresses for the kiddos.  I know what you are thinking – how can anyone have a good night’s sleep on an air mattress?  I agree, they are absolutely awful to sleep on as an adult, however, tiny people sleep fantastically on them!  The first time we decided to buy these for a trip we had Amazon ship directly to the hotel. 

We loved them so much, we crammed back into our luggage and brought them home.  Since then, they have been on many trips and have also been used for sleepovers at grandparents’ houses, camp outs in the basement, you name it! 

We liked this one when the kids are younger, it comes with a high-speed pump, holds up to rowdy toddlers and the younger kids like the comfort and boundaries of bumpers.  Perhaps the most important feature is that it is pink, however, it does also come in blue!
